Rules and Information

• PRINT FIRST and LAST NAMES on all score cards.

• We use the White Tees for ALL tournaments.

• Winter rules in the rough or fairway, except when you are stymied.

• NOTE: BALL LOST OR UNPLAYABLE OUTSIDE HAZARD OR OUT OF BOUNDS If ball is not found or identified as his by the player within five minutes after the player has begun to search for it, the ball is considered lost. One stroke penalty - Drop ball behind water hazard or point of entry as far back as you want in line of flight, no closer to the hole. We are not playing stroke and distance.

• USGA rules shall be applicable to all play.

• You will be responsible for the correct score card. All scores turned in are final. If the committee errors in recording scores, the necessary corrections will be made. Please print clearly on all cards. Decisions of the committee shall be final.

Scramble Rules

• All members hit a tee shot. The best shot is selected by the team and all members hit their second shot from that position - within six inches. While putting, all team members must putt from a common mark. All members must putt before anyone holes out. Once a ball is holed, the score is posted.

• Any sequence of players may be used in hitting each shot.

• KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU.

• If a player is absent .........

Note: Once the rotation starts it continues throughout all 18 holes, it does not change from hole to hole. A player's second shot is always the missing golfers shot, and is the last shot (if needed) of the team's four tries. The player taking the extra shot must use the same selected club for the shot.
